Dressing for Interviews
- Do not create distractions with fragrances, jewelry, hairstyles and/or apparel. - Avoid extreme or excessive hairstyles. Make sure your hair is clean, neat, and professionally styled. - Remove body and/or facial piercings other than single ear jewelry for interviews. - Cover any visible tattoos that may cause a distraction. - Apparel should be clean, neatly pressed, and appropriate for the season. - Apparel should fit well and remain in tact while sitting, walking, and/or standing. - Golden Rule: Less is more. Keep your dress simple. Shirts, blouses, skirts, slacks, ties, proper hosiery, and dress shoes are the key basics.
