Q1. How do I find a list of prerequisites or prerequisites with concurrency for
courses (classes that must be taken with the class in question)?
Prerequisites for required classes are listed on the
BME
Prerequisite Chart. Prerequisites for non-BME classes
can be found in OSCAR.
Q2. How do I know if the class is a prerequisite or prerequisite with concurrency?
All prerequisites with concurrency have an one (1) after
each class. All prerequisites do not have an one listed.
Q3. Do I really need to take the prerequisites for the classes?
Yes. The prerequisites and concurrent prerequisites are there to make sure that you have all of the background information for the class you are going to take.
Q4. OSCAR let me sign up for a class without the correct prerequisites or
corequisites. Can I still take the class?
No. The prerequisites and concurrent prequisites are there to make sure that you have all of the background information for the class you are going to take.
