GPA?

Q2. If I take classes at another
school, are those grades included in my Georgia Tech
GPA?
No. Your Georgia Tech GPA consists of only classes
taken at Georgia Tech.
Q3. If I repeat a class, will my
first grade be removed from my GPA?
Students Starting Summer 2005 and Earlier:
No. Both grades will be averaged into your overall
GPA.
Transfer Students Starting Fall 2005 and Later:
Both grades will be averaged into your overall GPA.
Freshman Starting Fall 2005 and Later:
Yes, a limited
Grade
Substitution Policy exists for first time freshman
who receive a "D" or an "F" in a course with in their
first two terms in residence. The proper paperwork
must be filled on time for this to be effective. The
paperwork is due after the class has been completed
and the new grade has been issued. Please see the
